today has been just like every other day. i woke up with a headache, because it felt like the construction guys in the apartment next door where about to hammer down my beedroom wall. this was not the case of course, but it was really loud, and i even had ear plugs!

so there i was awake but still sleepy. outside the rain was falling and the wind was blowing. brr...miserable weather. i guess it's not that bad beeing sick after all. don't think i'm missing out on much.

i got up and made myself some breakfast. sandwiches, avocado and juice. then i watched tv. days of our lives. ah, that's day time tv at it's best. after almost falling asleep in the couch i forced my self to get up.

i took a shower, got dressed and decided to go for a walk. i know, in the rain. but sitting at home day in and day out is really boring. and plus, when you sit at home you feel ok, but as soon as i entered the pharmacie, after walking for about 10 minutes, i felt like i was gonna faint. good thing i didn't go to work today. guess i wasn't as well as i thought.



today i realised i love my apartament! of course it could use a bit of fixing up here and there. like, i'm still not done with painting the walls in the bathroom, i mean, it's only been like 6 months or so. and of course i need to put things on the walls, after two years. and that stupid bookshell needs to be replaced by the one i like. wich is standing on the other side of the room, empty, just waiting. and the big frame i found in the garbage room, needs to become the mirror of my dreams. and then all the other things, the list goes on and on. but even though it's kinda half finished, it's still so warm and cosy.

it's home.
and it's mine.
